Today, 20 years ago there is this very nice invitation to a fantastic club in the beautiful city of Thun. It is the last preparing event before the Skasplash tour starts. I know the club already, because 6 years ago (in 1990) I was there with my bicycle to meet Laurel Aitken and asked him to show up in Lucerne for The Roots Connection. What is Peacestreet? Peacestreet is a band from Lucerne, Switzerland (1990-1995) Peacestreet is also the address of our flat (in fact it was René’s) in Lucerne (1989-1996) What have Peacestreet to do with Skasplash? Without Peacestreet I would never be a part of the Skasplash. Our band is called “Peacestreet” 1990-1995 (take a look at rootsconnection.ch) (Simon [drums], René [bass], Nonsi [guitar] and I [flute, trombone] are still together as part of Der Transformer).
