The Shame & Skandal Family live in the living room of Friedenstrasse 5 (headquarter of Peacestreet) in Luzern with music from DJ Ras Claude Sat, 14-September-1996.
It is close to the end of the real fantastic flat of Peacestreet. We start playing music together there. In 1989/90 René formed together with René Hort & Reto Stettler the in-house-playing band with no name. I sit in regularly and criticize the sounds. When René said to join in with an instrument rather than words. That was the time, where I bought a trombone. It was also the beginning of my education at the Jazz Schule Luzern. The first recording out of that time is around 1991. Before we changed our rehearsal place to our drummer Simons place.
In 1996 the Friedenstrasse 5 is closed down forever. It is the last time, we can play music for an audience inside the flat.
The building was cut off the Panorama (Bourbaki) to make place to the library and other things. So we celebrate the last days of living up in the 5th floor with this concert of Shame & Skandal Family.
René Frey and René Hort lived there together for some years.
The party is amazing. More than 50 people inside the flat. Well packed.
