Choir leader Bruno Baumberger invited us to play some Bob Marley tunes and our own set after the show. Two rehearsals later, we’re performing Bob Marley with a choir. Jonas takes the tenor saxophone for a solo in Stir It Up and I play a (kind of) flute solo in Three Little Birds. Our guests are Lady P, Maurice and Jackie Song.

Lady P is introducing and talking about Bob Marley and his songs in her original Jamaican style. Jackie Song is tap dancing. And Maurice is smiling.

This three tunes showing the live event. “Stir It Up” with Sarah singing the lead and Jonas playing the saxophone solo. Before “Three Little Birds” there is Lady P introducing (she made those introductions from mind and fully improvised Bruno asked her just before the show started to do so). The flute solo is me playing (I’m so sorry for being nervous and that bad). And “El Nino De Ringo” is our tune on the Skampler 2 compilation. Here in a very wild and fast version.

A Tribute To Bob Marley – two rehearsals for preparation… a great experience.
