Disco at Boa with DJ Ras Claude christmas Monday, December 25, 1989
After the first try in June that year that ended up in Sedel (see post). This second try at Boa is planned more serious by Vesna. I can’t remember to have seen a flyer thou, but when we show up, everything was fine.
Anyhow, christmas at Boa was very new to Luzern. Not many people came by. The ones who are there enjoy a lot.
I have no pictures or other souvenirs of that event.
This tracks are from a mix tape I did around that time. Remember: Everything is analog at that time and I have no mixing desk at that point of my DJing.
There is Toots & The Maytals “Pressure Drop” inna 1972 version on a Trojan 7inch. Followed by Max Romeo “Public Enemy No 1” for Lee Perry. Third track is Joe Higgs “The World Is Spinning Around” from a Sioux 7inch. Finished with The Upsetters “Dread Lion”.
The tape itself is beautifully designed by myself.
